A reminder from Berlyn
Rose to Light was created from a personal journey of learning how to bloom after grief — when I was finally met with connection, support, and courage instead of silence. That's what I want for you. 🌹
Rose to Light was founded by Berlyn Sharp in memory of her grandmother Rose,
who we lost to suicide in 2023. This journal exists because no teen
should have to carry grief alone.

🌹 Rose to Light
Why I built this.
Rose to Light was created from a personal journey of learning how to bloom after grief — when I was finally met with connection, support, and courage instead of silence.
Today, it exists to help teens and young adults feel seen, safe, and supported enough to believe that healing is possible for them too.
🌱
Prevention
Rose to Light exists to reach teens before silence turns into hopelessness — reminding them that asking for help is not weakness. It is courage, connection, and survival.
🤍
Connection
Grief can make someone feel completely alone. Rose to Light builds a community where teens feel seen, understood, supported, and never invisible in what they are carrying.
🌹
Courage
Healing begins with the courage to speak honestly about pain, ask for help, and believe that life can still bloom after grief.
The vision
To grow Rose to Light into an international movement — helping teens navigate grief through prevention, connection, courage, and emotional support, with a special focus on athletes and teens who feel pressure to appear strong while silently struggling underneath it all.
